Instant Sangria

Making sangria the traditional way means waiting overnight for the fruit to absorb the wine. The flavors are great, but the patience required isn't. With Silo, you get the same deep, fruit-saturated result in just 10 minutes.

Here's why it works: when you vacuum seal fruit and wine together, the pressure difference forces the wine into the fruit cells almost instantly — a process that normally takes hours of passive soaking. The result is juicy, wine-saturated fruit and a richer, more infused sangria ready to serve right away.

What you'll need:

  • 1 bottle of red wine (Garnacha or Tempranillo work great)

  • 1 orange, sliced into rounds

  • 1 lemon, sliced into rounds

  • 1 cup strawberries, halved

  • 1 apple, cored and thinly sliced

  • 2 tbsp sugar or honey

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • Optional: a splash of brandy

Add all ingredients to a Silo container, vacuum seal, and wait 10 minutes. Open, pour over ice, and serve.

No overnight wait. No planning ahead. Just great sangria, whenever you want it.
