Experiencing connectivity issues with your Silo? If you see a red icon or Alexa says there's no internet connection, follow the steps below to quickly get back online.
Step 1: Check Your Internet Connection
What to check
Make sure your Wi-Fi network is working properly. The issue might be with your network, not your Silo.
How to check
- Test another device (phone or laptop) on the same Wi-Fi.
- If it also has no internet → the issue is your network.
- Restart your router if the connection seems unstable.
Step 2: Restart Your Silo Device
What to do
- Unplug your Silo from power.
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Plug it back in.
- Wait for the device to reboot.
This helps your Silo re-establish its network connection.
After restarting, check if the red icon disappears and Alexa responds normally.
Step 3: Change Your Silo’s Network
If the issue persists, try connecting your Silo to a different Wi-Fi network to rule out network-specific problems.
- Use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (Silo does not support 5GHz).
- Avoid networks using WPA3 encryption.
- Try a different network to test if the issue is router-related.
Even if your current network seems fine, switching networks can help identify issues like weak signal or router configuration problems.
