Device Cleaning and Maintenance

Keeping your Silo device clean ensures it stays in top working condition, especially when handling food. This guide will walk you through the steps for cleaning your Silo base and emptying the reservoir.

Cleaning the Silo Device

To clean the Silo base:

• Use a damp cloth to wipe the base clean.
• Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid to avoid damaging the internal components.

Note: Regularly cleaning the base keeps your device looking great and functioning properly.

The Reservoir

Your Silo device has a built-in reservoir to collect any liquids that might overflow from containers during vacuum sealing. 

Here’s how to empty the reservoir:

1. Press under the Silo logo found on the reservoir to reveal the handle.
2. Pull out the reservoir from its compartment.
3. Unscrew and open the reservoir chamber.
4. Empty the liquid contents from the chamber.
5. Screw the chamber back tightly.
6. Align the Silo logo horizontally and press the reservoir back into its original position.
